I don’t have any specific influence. I have liked kimono since my childhood and wanted a chance to wear it, but my mother was so severe that I didn’t. It would have become an argument. I look at the internet and learn from it, and I am encouraged by seeing people mixing kimono with western clothes and wearing it in new ways. I have learnt from many different people’s videos. There are some people on Face Book who show off very expensive kimono in fancy hotels. They use it as a way of showing status, but they make it too special and I don’t share their values. I like the way some non-Japanese are wearing it, and I like a natural style.

特に影響を受けていることはないです。小さい時から着物が好きで、着る機会が欲しかったのですが、着ようとすると母が厳しくて、衝突してしまうので着るのをやめてしまいました。今はインターネットで着物のことを学んでいます。着物と洋服をミックスして着たり、ちょっと崩して着ているのを見るとインスピレーションを受けるし私も着たくなります。また様々な人の映像や動画を見ると勉強になります。FaceBookなどで、高級な着物を高級なホテルで着ている人を時々みかけますが、着物を特別なものにしてしまっているようで、私と価値観は違うと感じています。外国人の着方や、自然な着方が好きです。
