Yoko’s Story 3

I was given this kimono from my mother as a tanmono, role of cloth. My mother got it from her sister. At that time, I was in kimono school, and a kimono tailor was there. I picked the lining fabric with him and asked him to tailor it. This was my first tsumugi kimono and I really like it. It is very comfortable because it is my size, easy to wear tidily and to move in because the fabric is not slippery. My character is fond of things that are sharp and hard. Mainly, I wear this tsumugi for tea ceremony practice. I often wear an unlined Nagoya obi with this kimono, casually.
