This is my ideal kimono, in which all my likings are condensed. I found this at a second-hand kimono store which has only good quality items, and it was expensive for me, but I got it. I liked all the details in the tie-dye on the weaving in check patterns with the tsumugi thread, colors, size of patterns, everything. I like this too much to wear it casually. I have never worn it yet. I am collecting some obi to combine with it. This kimono is for the casual occasion, but for me, it’s too special, so I am looking for an occasion for it’s debut. Now I can be happy just looking at it. The colors are quiet but it looks fun. The fabric is not glossy. All of the conditions are right for me, but it is difficult to find the right chance to wear it.

高級品を扱うリサイクル着物店で出会い、少し高かったけれど買いました。

紬糸で格子状に変わり織りされた生地に絞りが施された、とても凝った生地の質感、色も柄の大きさも配置もすべて気に入っていて、逆に気に入りすぎて気軽に着られません。これに合う帯を集めています。帯の合わせ方が腕の見せ所だと思います。カジュアルな着物ですが特別な着物なのでデビューする場を探しています。

着なくても、見ているだけでも幸せになります。色は渋いのにポップな感じもするし、光沢がない生地なのも良くて、私にとって着やすい条件がそろっているのになかなか着られない着物なのです。
