I dyed this yukata when I attended a workshop. There were some patterns to choose from, and I picked this because it seemed easy to match the patterns when I cut it out and sewed it. The pattern outlines were already pasted on the fabric, and the participants could pick the colors with which they would like to dye it . I dyed it using 2~3 thin brushes together. It took about 60 hours to finish it. I cut and sewed it by myself. I will wear it this summer. I can’t wait.

ワークショップに参加して自分で染めた浴衣です。柄は決まっていて、反物全体に糸目が置いてあり、色は自分の好きな色で染められます。いくつかある柄の中から柄合わせのしやすいものを選び、柄合わせを考えながら裁断して自分で仕立てました。イメージ通りのものができました。

細い筆を２～３本使い、黒い色で塗りつぶすのに全部で60時間ぐらいかかったと思います。今年の夏初めて着ます。楽しみです。
