This kimono is made from the bamboo fiber. I wanted to have a summer kimono because my kimono wearing lesson finished in early summer and wanted to wear kimono soon. This is the first kimono I purchased by my self at the proper price. It is very easy to care for, as it’s washable in a washing machine. I picked a quiet color because I wanted to wear kimono in the same mood as when I wear regular clothes. I always wear quiet colors in my regular clothes. This is transparent fabric, so I need to wear a juban under it.

Wearing juban is hot in the summer, so I prefer to wear yukata often now.

これは竹の繊維でできている夏用の着物です。着付けのレッスンが終わったのが初夏で、夏の着物が欲しくて買いました。洗濯機でじゃぶじゃぶ洗えて、涼しくて、本当によく着ました。初めて自分で、定価で買った着物です。

着物でも洋服の時と同じ感覚で着たいと思っていたので、普段の洋服と同じ地味めな色になりました。透ける着物なので、襦袢が必要です。今は襦袢を着なくて済む浴衣の方が着る機会が多くなりました。
