This green komon is the first kimono that I had made to fit me. I had a friend who did tea ceremony, she was actually a teacher. She wore kimono a lot. She took me to a really nice store in Ginza, and I had it made about twenty years ago. At that time I couldn’t wear kimono, but I wanted it anyway. I love the green and the colored wavy lines of the design.

この緑の小紋は一番最初に誂えた物です。お茶が好きでお茶の先生になった友人がいて、彼女はたくさん着物を着ていました。もう２０年ほど前になりますが、彼女に銀座の素敵な着物屋に連れて行ってもらいました。そのときは着物は着られなかったのですが、とにかく欲しかったのです。この緑色と立涌が好きです。
