This kimono is the first kimono that I bought myself. I was in my 40s, I think. The technique is called sumi nagashi. I was in a department store with my mother, in Kichijoji. I just thought it would really suit me. Then one day I wore it to a party and I had soup spilled all over it.

この着物は自分で初めて買ったものです。墨流しの着物です。４０代の頃だったと思います。母と一緒に行った吉祥寺のデパートで、私に似合うと思い購入しました。でも、パーテイに行った時、スープをかけられてしまいました。
