A year and a half ago, I was influenced by a photo book that a kimono stylist published. I have never been inspired by conventional kimono magazines, but after seeing this book, I got out my mother’s kimono and began to look at them. I went to a few 500 yen lessons and then I practiced with You Tube for almost a year and then started going out in kimono. Influenced by that stylist, I have started to wear a lot of hats and accessories that I wasn’t using before, and that is fun. When I go out kimono people praise my look and that makes me very happy.

一年半前に、着物スタイリストの本が出版されました。それまでの着物の雑誌には興味がなかったのですが、この本にはとても興味を持ち、その影響で母の着物を出して、見るようになりました。それからは、500円の着物レッスンを何回か受け、You tubeで一年ぐらい練習し、着物で出かけるようになりました。そのスタイリストの影響で、今まであまり使っていなかった帽子や小物を使うようになり、とても楽しいです。そして着物で出かけると、人々が私のことを褒めてくれるので、とても嬉しいです。
