My friend was working for a yukata company. She told me that kagozome, was dying out, there would not be any more yukata dyed using this technique, so she encouraged me to get one. It has a second design dyed on the inside. I really like it. I think this is one of the last ones made in that technique.

友達が浴衣の会社に勤めていました。彼女から、カゴ染めという技法はもうなくなると教えられ、浴衣にこの技法を使って染めることはなくなるので買っておいた方が良いと勧められました。この浴衣は中側に別の模様が染めてあります。この技法が廃れる寸前に作られた浴衣です。とてもおしゃれな浴衣です。
