This is called gokusame komon. It is same komon but the design is really really fine. You can hardly see it. It was made by a 4th generation artist who has now passed away, and it is the first kimono that I bought myself.

これは極鮫小紋と呼ばれ、非常に模様が細かい鮫小紋です。柄がほとんど見えないくらい精巧な型紙で染められたものです。もう亡くなってしまいましたが、ある工房の四代目の職人が染めました。自分で買った初めての着物です。
