This ojiya chijimi is from Niigata. It was explained to me how it was dried out on the snow, and then I thought that was beautiful so I bought it. I love the soft and gentle colours, it feels nice on the skin, and I imagine myself wearing it and carrying a parasol.

この小千谷縮は新潟で作られました。反物を雪の上で晒す工程を聞いて、とても美しい話だと思い、購入しました。この柔らかい色合いがとても好きで、肌触りも良いです。この着物を着て日傘をさしながら歩く自分を想像します。
