When I was an English teacher at a high school in Fukuoka, I took on the role of being an assistant to give diplomas to graduating students. My parents made this kimono for the ceremony. The four seasons flowers are drawn on the gold circles. My favorite flower is the iris. But unfortunately I wore this only once. I put a yellow-green obi on it and it looks like a fresh spring image. I would love to wear it again if I had a chance. My younger sister wore it to my wedding ceremony.

高校の英語教師をしていた頃、卒業証書の介添え役をすることになり、両親が作ってくれました。金箔の中に四季折々の花が描いてあり、私は菖蒲の花の絵が一番気に入っています。残念ながらこの着物は一度着ただけです。そのときは黄緑色の帯を合わせて若々しい春のイメージで着ました。今も機会があれば着たい１枚です。私の結婚式に妹がこの着物を着てくれました。
