Yukiko’s Story 2

I sewed this yukata by myself two years ago. I learned wasai (kimono making) twice. The first time was just after I graduated university. At that time, I thought I was not good at wasai and I avoided it since. Later I restarted wasai in my early 30’s. When I finished this yukata, I was very happy. I was not good at sitting still and concentrating during all the hours of sewing, but I became able to do it now. This yukata is the result of my overcoming my weakness. I liked this pattern at first glance. I love this now and also I can also wear it when I get old.
