MINAKO’S INFLUENCES影響
I think I got kimono influences from my mother basically. I learnt how to wear kimono from her and she went to kimono sales events with me to give me advice. Also, I always ask her to do the maintenance on my kimono that I send to her in Akita, after I wear them in Tokyo. Another influence are the lectures of kimono in my open college two years ago. The lectures were about thinking about wearing kimono more freely in various ways. I had a 90 minute lecture each day for five days. This was a good opportunity to think about what kind of kimono I really like.
根本の部分には母の影響があると思います。母には着物の着方を教えてもらっていますし、呉服屋さんのイベントに行くときには母に一緒に行ってもらいます。また、東京で着た着物は秋田の実家に送り、母にメンテナンスをお願いしています。
もう一つ影響を受けたのは２年前にオープンカレッジで受けた着物の講義です。この講義は着物を色々な意味でもっと自由に着る事を考える内容で、９０分の講義を５回にわたって受講しました。この講義は、私はどんな物が好きなのかを考えるきっかけになりました。
