MIKA’S STORY 2 着物物語 2

This plum coloured kimono and obi were given to me by a friend at aikido. She is also a tea ceremony teacher. She said I could use this kimono for practicing. I took some free lessons in wearing kimono but I haven’t practiced in a while. I would really like to learn and use these kimono that I have been given and I want to wear my homongi at my nephew’s wedding.

この赤紫の着物と帯は合気道の友人からいただきました。彼女はお茶の先生でもあります。この着物は着付けの練習用に、といただきました。無料の着付け教室に行きましたが、しばらく練習していないです。きちんと習いたいです。このいただいた着物も使いたいし、甥の結婚式に自分の訪問着を着たいです。
