LYNN YUKI’S PROBLEMS問題
The humidity is a big problem for me. My apartment is on the ground floor, and I live next to a large river. It is too humid here even for a pawlonia chest. I keep my best kimono, the homongi from my family, and a recycled one, in Nagano at my mother’s place. Here I used underbed, plastic storage boxes. They are the perfect size for keeping kimono in. I put lots of moisture collectors in the boxes to protect the kimono, and keep them in paper wrappers, tatoshi.
湿気にとても困っています。私の部屋はアパートの１階で、大きな川のそばにあります。桐の箪笥でも湿気を防ぎきれません。そのため家族から譲られた訪問着や良い着物は長野の実家に置いてもらっています。私の部屋ではベッドの下に収納できる、着物を入れるのにぴったりのサイズのプラスチック製の箱を使っています。湿気取りをたくさん入れています。
