KAZUKO’S PROBLEMS 困っていること
I feel concerned about how I will treat the tan-mono that I was given. Some of them I tailored already. I have some expensive Yuki or shibori tanmono, but I already have enough to wear myself.
I am trying to tell my three daughters about the dyeing and weaving of kimono, as well as how to wear them. If I did not have knowledge about these things, I might dispose these expensive kimono. I am seriously considering about how to pass this knowledge on to them.
譲っていただいた反物をどうしたら良いか困っています。
いくつかは私のサイズに仕立てて着ています。
結城や絞りの高価な反物があるのですが、私が着るにはもう充分な数をもっています。
３人の娘達には着物の着方だけでなく染めや織りのことも伝えようと意識しています。私も染めや織りの知識がなければ、ただの好みだけで判断して、こんなにいいものでも分からずに処分していたかもしれません。どうやって伝えていくかも考え中です。
