CHIKAKO’S STORY 2 着物物語2

This is a very unusual kimono that I was given by someone I know. I don’t know who used it. It is a dark purple plain kimono in a thick chirimen, but it has a tie-dye patterned hiyoku eri, an extra collar, and the front edge also has this design on it and so do the sleeves. The kimono has three crests, but they are not normal crests, they are these large embroidered cranes. I have never seen another kimono like it, and I wonder who wore it. Its very stylish.
この着物は知り合いから頂いた物です。誰が着ていたのかはわからないです。しっかりした縮緬の深い紫色の色無地です。絞り模様の比翼衿があり、おくみと袖口にも付けてあります。三つ紋の着物ですが、このような紋は見たことがありません。とても大きな鶴が刺繍されています。このような着物は他に見たことがありません。とてもおしゃれです。どんな人が着たのでしょうか？
