CHIKAKO’S STORY 1 着物物語1

This kimono is special to me because I had it made up for dancing. Dancing kimono are sewn a little wider than regular ones. I can dance male roles in this kimono because the pattern is not feminine and flowery. The design is called namigashira, waves and rocks. Its very cool. I wanted it a little wider for dancing really but still, I can use it.
この着物は踊りのために誂えたものです。踊りの着物は通常の着物より広く仕立てるため、この着物も少し広く仕立ててもらいました。この着物で男踊りもできます。模様が女性らしい花柄ではなく、波頭の模様でとても粋な柄です。もう少し広く仕立てればよかったけど、でも大丈夫です。
