My main problems are that the number of kimono I have, keeps on increasing. People give kimono to me because they know that I use them. Apart from my own tansu, I have two more tansu of relatives kimono in this house. The house is getting old and they are very heavy and are stored upstairs, so I worry about the weight of them, in case there is an earthquake.
I also go to a local kimono shop to do my kimono washing, (洗い針) and they always stop me and try to make me spend time looking at kimono which they want to sell. I don’t buy kimono there, but they stop me anyway, so once I bought some tabi.
一番の問題は着物が増え続けることです。私が着物を着ると知るとくださる方が多いのです。私の箪笥以外に、２棹親戚の着物が入った箪笥もあります。着物は重く、家が古い、そして２階に保存してありますのでちょっと心配です。地震があったら、どうなるのでしょうか？
また、近所の呉服店に、洗い張りを頼みに行くといつも足止めされ、売りたい着物を見せられます。そこでは着物を買った事はありませんが、いつも足止めされるので、一度足袋を買いました。
