This kimono is designed by a woman designer. Because of this brand I started to go and buy kimono in a new way. Until then I just picked my favourite one of the ones in the shops. But when I found this brand I went to their event and met the designer and the staff, and I looked at the website, and I could understand their policy. It was a really knew way for me, and I like it because I like the kimono designer’s thought and her style. I feel happy to be wearing a kimono made by someone who really loves kimono and to make kimono. The cost is also reasonable, because I can buy directly from the makers.

３枚目の着物は女性デザイナーさんがデザイン・制作するブランドの着物です。この着物が特別なのは、このブランドを知ることで新しい着物の選び方・買い方ができるになったからです。今までは、お店に並ぶ商品を見て、その商品を選ぶだけでした。でもこのブランドを知りブランド主催のイベント等へ行ったり、webサイトを見たりすることで、実際に作っている人達と話したり、作り手さんの考え、ポリシー、を知ることで、デザインだけでなく、その人の考えやスタイルが好きだからその人の商品を買う、という買い方ができるようになりました。本当に着物が好きで作っている人達から着物を買うのは嬉しいことですし、自分たちで作っている物を自分たちで売っているので、価格も適正なのが嬉しいです。
